China wants ‘political compliance’ in return for ‘economic reliance’

by timesverge

Sky Information Political Editor Andrew Clennell says China desires “political compliance” in return for “financial reliance”.

He stated there are fears of a future blockade of the Taiwan Strait by China.

“There have been few indicators from the ambassador that there can be a reversal anytime quickly by way of commerce bans on Australian beef or wine,” Mr Clennell stated.

“It appears the Chinese language authorities desires to carry that over Australia as if to say there are additional commerce sanctions that may be put in place.”
